Almost there & Fat Joe

Soooooooooooo close!!!!!!!!!!! Down 1.4lbs this week for a total of 59.8lbs!!! My current short-term goal is to be down 60lbs by next Saturday (my daughter's 1st birthday party). I'll definitely get there!

To my surprise, I actually lost weight this week! Despite what I posted previously about the way I ate but it led me to realize some things about myself.

  1. I get full so easily these days so maybe I didn't eat as much as I thought I did, I just felt stuffed. When I sat and thought about what I actually ate, yes it was a bit overboard but probably definitely not as much as I would have eaten 9 months ago!! Portion control has become part of who I am.
  2. Exercise, as I have mentioned before, as also become part of my day to day without me even realizing it. Even though I didn't go hard with Turbo Fire every day or have a specific workout every day, I thought about how much I walked. Instead of driving the mile to where I had to go Mon-Wed, I walked the mile to and from each day.
  3. HIIT workouts WORK! I only (We don't use that word anymore .. no such thing as only) managed two days of Turbo Fire this week but on both days I did HIIT 25. When you do a HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) workout, it keeps your metabolism going long after the workout is over.
I can't believe I am at this point in my life.. I never thought I would be here saying I weigh 193lbs!! I can't wait to get to the 180's!!

SO life is good! Weight Watchers meeting was awesome as usual today!!

That's about all I have for the day.. oh other than the fact that Fat Joe is now "Skinny Joe". Well, unlike Diddy, he didn't choose to change his name but he lost a whopping 88lbs!! Check it out:

and he did it for the right reasons. Of course he could get away with being fat forever.. he's freaking FAT JOE! But he chose to get healthy for his kids! and for himself! and I give him a TON of credit for that!! You can read more about it at Madame: The Journey of a Weight Loss*ista

Have a wonderful day weight loss champs!!!!

SO PROUD of your accomplishment this week, Krystle! I know you're little mini-you will look back at your pictures when she is older and realize how much you love her for working this hard!

Isn't it amazing how different we are now? When I compare me eating like a pig now to eating like a pig before, it's like night and day!

I KNOW you're gonna reach your 60lbs goal. I just feel it! Really proud of you today, Krystle. Just can't say it enough! Good for you, Gurl!! :-)
