Nothing a little retail therapy can't fix

If one of my professors offers to rewrite a paper for a better grade or to retake a test for a better average, I rarely take that option. I highly DISLIKE redoing something that I alreaady did. If I clean the house and my toddler comes behind me messing it up, I tend to leave it messed up the 2nd time. I highly DISLIKE redoing something that I already did. It's aggravating, is it not??
I worked for a month to get from -99lbs to -100lbs.

It took me one WEEK to go right back to -99lbs.

I am not beating myself up because I know it's part of the journey. I also know that I ate sushi last night, which can be high in sodium and I also ate lunch out yesterday even though I DID make healthy decisions. Then topped my night off with a handful of jelly beans. Not to mention in the beginning of the week I used all my weeklies on wine. So I knew the gain was happening. I expected it. I didn't cry and mope over it and I let it go as soon as I got off the scale but the twinge of frustration is still there since I worked so hard to reach a milestone for a handful of jelly beans to try to take it away.

I say "try" to take it away because in my mind I have still lost 100lbs, I just had an off week. Not really "off" because I followed the plan 99% of the time. It just wasn't one of my best weeks and I definitely didn't workout like I usually do.

BUT....a new week started at 7:05 this morning when I stepped down from that scale and I am going to bust booty this week.

My friend Nicole and I promised to focus on power foods this week and to choose workouts we haven't done in a while. For me, that is Jillian Michaels. I haven't done any of her workouts in a couple weeks so this week I am promising to get in at least one, if not more, of them 5 days out of the week this week. It's times like this that you need an accountability partner, or several!! If you don't have someone that you can text or call when you have a rough moment on this journey OR a huge celebration, then you are missing out! Go get an AP! (Accountability Partner)

Sooo after I left my meeting I was feeling slightly bummed but I think the rainy day and a few other things going on attributed to that. But if anybody knows me, they know that retail therapy can solve all my problems.....at least for the time being. So I bought a bathing suit, a couple new dresses, and a new sports bra.

A work in progress indeed....in so many aspects of my life!! Working on being the best me that I can be. mentally, physically, and spiritually, but that doesn't come overnight!

That coral dress is magnificent on you! I really LOVE it and it's so on trend this season!

I agree that re-losing what you've lost before is super annoying. It feels like it takes longer too but I'm sure it's just mind tricks.

I am like you and turn to non-scale victories like retail therapy to make the process more enjoyable :)

Have a lovely weekend!

Really off topic, but I love your hair. Are you still able to pull it back when you work out?

And that shade of pink for your swimsuit is beautiful!

Im thinking Anonymous is a fat B with nothing to do but hate on others that actually work to achieve their goals. Im thinking Anonymous is super jealous of you and WOULD NEVER be able to pull off anything you wear in your cute pictures! You are an inspiration Krystal. Dont let the fatties of the world(anonymous) bring you down just cuz they cant achieve what you have! Go Krystal...you look amazing! Keep posting! You are making me so excited to be able to wear all the cute pics you post in your pics!

Anonymous could just unfollow. Krystal, you are an inspiration. Person from the Hughes family, I would like to point out the unsavory use of the words "fat" and "fatties of the world" is hurtful to those of us still on our journeys. It's too bad when that is the put down resorted to in defense of someone who has worked so hard for her successes. As if fat is the absolute worst thing in the world to be. :( sad that even those hurtful words could be so casually thrown around in our supportive community.
Krystal, you look fabulous and nothing can take away from your hard work and brilliant smile. Keep on rockin it out girl!!!

Krystle, you are on an amazing journey and I am so inspired by you and your posts "every 3 minutes" ha ha ha. They keep me motivated throughout the day and it's nice to see someone who struggles as I do. And not someone who sugar coats everything, making it seem easy, even when you've reached a big goal--b/c it's not, at least not for most people.
For Anonymous, I wonder two things: why you are following a weight-loss blog if you do not have lbs to lose, like everyone else, and 2) I wonder if you realize how ignorant you make yourself sound by saying things like 'ask your husband who I am.' Really? are we in high school? Is that the best you could come up with? If you are so inspired to write to her, that a hateful post is what you come up with, then clearly this lady has hit a chord with you and you have some issues of your own to face. Perhaps this blog isn't the best place for you to face/talk about them though. It sounds like you haven't exactly endeared yourself to anyone here. Unfollow, and hopefully you'll have a better day, since clearly you're having a bad one so far.

Honey she has a right to show off. Look at her & her success.
Plus it's HER blog & SHE can post as many times as SHE likes. Get the picture?
Sounds like you're just extremely jealous if you ask me.

Anonymous. . .she's posting this blog to share her journey, the thing is, you have the freedom to follow or not follow. Everything on here is positive, kind of, a hate free zone. If you dont like her way of doing things, go find a blogger that you do enjoy and can get some positive light from. Women or people in general should never perpetuate hate for others sucess.

I'm 6 months pregnant & last week I had someone tell me how I'm getting fat and she began to point out all my "big" areas. I was super annoyed but then looked at this person and realized that she was jealous. I'm 6 months preggo and she still out weighs me by 50 lbs, not only that but even if this chic was tiny she is a serious butterface.

Moral of my story is that most people who go out just to look for someone to put down, its most likely jealousy and they have their own issues.
I guarantee a 100% that Autonomous has the face of a monkeys ass. They are probably the person that posts their high school photos on all their profiles or better yet someone else's photo.
Autonomous, stop seeking out people to bully, it will not cure your insecurities. Your currently ugly inside and most likely outside. It costs a lot of money to fix your outside so just work on fixing your insides. Accept you ass face as it is and leave others alone...

I've just started following your blog and have seen nothing but positivity and courage! You are very inspiring. I've made since big changes too , but I would never be brave enough to post a swimsuit pic!! Obviously Anonymous is afraid to leave their name because deep down she is ashamed of herself and jealous of what you've accomplished. Let your haters be your motivators!!! Keep the posts and pictures coming! Sounds like Anonymous needs a little more inspiration :-)

I am following you but never comment anything.. I just like to read your story it shows that trying to loose 100 pounds isn't easy at all, there might be days when you are an A student and days when you suck its all part of the journey ... Your main goal is to stay positive, and to always get back up which I love... Great job... You arent a show off you are allowing others to step in your personal life...

So sad for you to be so negative, and for you to be so rude tops the icing on the cake so wonder "you're the husbands mistress" because you could never be the leading LADY!!!!

KEEP UP THE GOOD JOB ....
IF WE DIDN'T WANT TO FOLLOW OR READ ABOUT YOUR POST WE SIMPLY WOULDN'T HAVE TO (hint to anonymous)

But I enjoy it :)

You need to go find some happiness!! Seriously you can't be happy in YOUR life to come here and be a complete bi**h! I will pray that God will heal your hate and bring you happiness. How sad it is to be you!

Anonymous said...

Hey shit talker you say you're the "husband (u forgot the s) mistress" you must have such low self worth to be someones "booty call" and not the leading lady.

Anonymous said...

I LOVE your blog. You are awesome!! =)

I follow you on FB. Ignore the idiot(s) who made the stupid comments. Obliviously, this person is stupid for a plethora of reasons. 1. If you waste your own time commenting on a blog on someone you claim not to like and are annoyed by, you are beyond dumb. 2. If you can't be positive to someone who has done something incredible, you are past stupid.

The end. Don't let fools get to you girl. You are doing great things!
