Success is a journey, not a destination. Focus on the process.

Helllooo bloggers, blog readers, friends, & family! How is everyone doing? Hang on tight.. I have a few things to talk about.

1st and foremost: In September I originally set out to set 50lbs by the time my baby girl turned one. She will be one tomorrow and as of this past Saturday I have lost 62.2lbs!!!!!! Now that's a victory if I ever heard of one!

We had her 1st birthday party on Saturday and it was absolutely INCREDIBLE! I couldn't have asked for better company, better weather, better food..*sigh* it was just an amazing, amazing day!!!  - the food was so freaking good and I didn't exactly watch what I ate...well I watched it go in my mouth...lol but I just felt like I busted my butt - this was as much of a celebration for me as it was for her!

Here's a few pics from her party:

My honey and our beautiful baby
Struttin her stuff in the pool!

Her own special cake!

We had such an awesome day. It was pretty cool seeing some people I haven't seen in a while too who couldn't believe that I was so "thin"!

My Aunt Millie...I swear she almost cried lol I haven't seen her since my baby shower and she has always known me as being heavy. She couldn't get over seeing me! My Aunt Andrea HAS seen me and she even said she couldn't stop staring at me. My honey's co worker came in the yard and asked where I was and he told her "You probably won't recognize her" LOL.. all of it felt good to hear! It's always nice when your hard work is recognized!!

I am proud to announce that I weigh 190.6lbs!! I can't freaking WAIT to get into the 180's but it's crazy because it seems like just the other day I was saying "I can't wait to get under 200!" ..This is such an incredible journey.

BUT

I need to am getting back on get on track with my stomach workouts. I said it a while ago and made a little plan and it was going well until I hurt my ankle and laid of working out for a bit all together. I even started to notice a difference and then as soon as I stopped, the difference went away. I know I'll never have a 6 pack but a girl can dream right? I'll work towards my dreamy 6 pack anyway! lol

I found this on my Google adventures:

Success is not a race, be patient.
Success leads to success.
Success is always a work in progress.
Success doesn't come to you--you go to it.
Success is a journey, not a destination. Focus on the process.
Some people dream about success... while others wake up and work hard at it.
Success is achieved and maintained by those who try-and keep trying.
Everyday is a good day to SUCCEED!
If at first you don't succeed-try, try again

I bolded that one line because it's so important to remember!

One last thing - my friend Cheri from Weight Watchers recently started a blog because she was inspired by reading mine! Check her out: My Weight Loss Journey

Love,
Krystle
